BUSINESSMED  participated on march 23 in the MedCat Days 2022, a hybrid  event co-organised by the Ministry for Foreign Action and Open Government and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Government of Catalonia, together with the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed.

This initiative was held at the Pedralbes Royal Palace in Barcelona within the framework of the relaunch of the Mediterranean Strategy of Catalonia “MedCat 2030”. It provided a space for reflection, workshops between actors and projects, and institutional meetings.

During the parallel workshop on "What is the role of European programs in the construction of the Mediterranean: expectations and opportunities"  , the  General Director of BUSINESSMED, Jihen Boutiba,  presented the organization and its projects, then shared her vision of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation to ensure a mutually beneficial exchange between the northern and southern shores.

The MedCat Days offered a framework for dialogues, connecting Catalan actors working in the Mediterranean, with the aim to encourage new initiatives and projects, while boosting the Green and Digital Transitions, as well as promoting agreements and exchanges between Catalan and South Mediterranean actors.
