BUSINESSMED along with the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA) and the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), coordinated under the EBSOMED project an internal consultation among private sector representatives of the Euro-Mediterranean region in view of providing further inputs to the Joint Communication on the renewed partnership with the Southern Neighbourhood, and targeting the advocacy potential, needs and priorities of the Euro Med business community. 

The survey was sent to a selected list of private sector stakeholders, with both Mediterranean & European headquartered small and large enterprises operating in different sectors and countries. The structure of the survey was a simple Yes/No format to ensure faster inputs, which has been witnessed by a high rate of response, highlighting the renewed interest in the Euro Mediterranean partnerships’ models.

The various responses to the survey were collected and processed and then grouped into tables to facilitate their use and analysis. A factsheet has also  been developed to summarize in an attractive and simple way the main outcomes of the survey.
