BUSINESSMED took part on 2 and 3 April 2019 in the 3rd edition of Tunisia Digital Summit (TDS), an important event for the Tunisian entrepreneurial ecosystem, working in the fields of Digital Research and Innovation. The TDS was inaugurated by Youssef Chahed, Head of the Tunisian Government with the participation of the Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies and the Digital Economy, Anouar Maarouf.

Nearly 40 national and international high-level speakers, took part in the event to be part of the various conferences, panels, and interventions that addressed the themes of technological innovation, the digital transformation of companies, artificial intelligence, and social media business. 18 Tunisian startups also exposed their solutions and innovations and met with potential funders.

In his speech, the Head of Government said: “Digital transformation is a priority of the government that works to establish an economic model based on innovation and creativity. We are betting on the digital economy to strengthen our position in the global market, our role is to mentor young entrepreneurs and help them so that our country becomes a digital hub of export of Tunisian intelligence around the world, and we rely on the various actors of the private sector for that.”
