Rencontres HOMERe Maroc - International internships, a springboard towards the employability of young graduates
HOMERe "High Opportunity for Mediterranean Executive Recruitment" is a Euro-Mediterranean societal programme - labeled in 2015 by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and financially supported by the European Union - which allows students from the South of the Mediterranean to completing their internship at the international level and then mobilizing the skills acquired to benefit the economic development of their country of origin. The HOMERe program aims to strengthen the employability of young high-level graduates from the countries participating in the program and in particular their access to a first quality job, through the completion of a 6-month internship abroad in a company of the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The HOMERe Maroc Association is the national operator for Morocco of the HOMERe Programme whose promoter is the HOMERe France Association. HOMERe Maroc operates to promote the employability of young Moroccans by connecting the academic world and the world of business through long internships abroad. To improve the employability of young graduates, HOMERe Morocco advocates a horizontal approach, involving a large number of stakeholders such as institutions, universities, companies and associations. It is a question of making a concrete contribution to the problems of the formation-employment and the revitalization of peace and exchanges in all their forms in the Mediterranean.
This meeting is intended to be a platform for sharing and inspiration for the participants and aims to promote the internship abroad as a lever for improving employability. HOMERe Morocco wants to identify internship opportunities in France in 2020 from a perspective of professional integration in Morocco.
