A Master Class ICC Young Entrepreneurs « Réussir les Start-Ups Tunisiennes en Industries Culturelles et Créatives »
A Master Class ICC Young Entrepreneurs « Réussir les Start-Ups Tunisiennes en Industries Culturelles et Créatives » took place in Tunis, on May 31st and June 1st 2016.
The event, organized by BUSINESSMED in the framework of EUROMED INVEST project, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaga (Spain) and Foundation AIP (Portugal), gathered about 15 young Tunisian Start-ups, launched or currently being launched or developed, active in the fields of Cultural and Creative industries (ICC).
The event has been officially opened by BUSINESSMED Secretary General, Mrs. Jihen BOUTIBA MRAD, who emphasized the importance of this initiative that aims at strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit among young Tunisians in the fields of Cultural and Creative Industries. During the opening session Mr. Bruno MONTARIOL, Culture and Media Project Manager for the UE Delegation in Tunisia and Mr. Oussema DAHMANI, EuromedInvest Project Coordinator, also took the floor.
The training,animated by Spanish and Portuguese experts in ICC sector, gave the participants the opportunity to channel their talents, know-how, experiences and educations towards a professional career, by using new communication patterns, financing instruments and new ways to manage a project.
The topics covered during the event have been enriched by direct testimonies and contributions of the invited experts, who created a “space to think”, by also making recourse to a multi-media approach and thus allowing a better interaction among the participants.

The success of the event shows once again that the sector of cultural and creative industries has become in Tunisia a lever of economic development and job creation, playing a fundamental role for the socio-economic growth in Tunisia.
