In celebration for its 10th Anniversary, the Union for the Mediterranean hosted the 3rd edition of the Regional Forum, October 8th, 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

This forum focused on the UfM Med4jobs initiative that is an integrated approach that tackles both the supply and demand sides of the labour market by targeting three core issues, namely Employability, Job intermediation and Business-enabling infrastructure.

Mrs Jihen Boutiba ,Secretary General of BUSINESSMED, made an intervention presenting the Organisation and its strategic axes emphasizing a Social and Economic dialogue development involving SMEs and Business Support Organisations BSOs.

The main thematic for the dialogue included the engagement of the Private Sector in the human and the sustainable development efforts, the social impact of the Private Sector in the Euro-Mediterranean Region, as well as best practices and success stories by several promoters and beneficiaries of different UfM-labelled projects under the Med4Jobs initiative, with a focus on youth and women.
