BUSINESSMED Online Workshop on Support to Project Development - The design of a solid EU Project Proposal: The Logical Framework approach

In the framework of EBSOMED, BUSINESSMED, in cooperation with MDF Brussels, is organizing on 29 & 30 June and 2 & 3 July 2020, the certified online Workshop on Support to Project Development "The design of a solid EU Project Proposal: The Logical Framework approach".

In view of the unprecedented context imposed by the Covid19 pandemic, the workshop on Project Management developed under EBSOMED Project which is usually a face-to-face course has been translated into an online one. This shift has been ensured in synergies with the training and consultancy organization MDF.

The training days feature high quality and up-to-date training modules in obtaining and managing EuropeAid grant contracts.

The courses, designed in the form of virtual classrooms, consists of a preparatory phase for the next training on EuropeAid Grant implementation. This virtual classroom provides an overview of the EU relevant actors involved in development cooperation with a special focus on DG DEVCO and DG NEAR. The course is targeting BSOs’ staff involved in fundraising and management of EU-funded projects who need a refreshment and deeper knowledge on EU funds. A special focus will be dedicated to the design of successful project proposals according to the logical framework approach and following practice-driven learning-by-doing approach.

Learning Objectives

  • In terms of knowledge: The participants will know the various specific tools that they can use to draft a solid project proposal based on the logical framework approach.
  • In terms of skills: The participants will acquire the skills, the tips and the know-how to apply the various tools related to the logical framework approach.
  • In terms of attitude: The participants will know where to get the information when it comes to EC funding with a focus on development and cooperation and feel more confident with drafting proposals.

4 coaching sessions of 1,5 hours each will follow the training and will offer the opportunity to the participants to further explore, discuss some of the issues covered during the training.
